Joining the Air force, as MP

Just talked to my dad, whos old friend was an MP for many years,
he told me he could help me out with basic training (tips etc)
i still need to check with my boss at work, and all. but im surely going to join
Its called Air Force Security Forces. I've been wanting to join for some years and i think nows the time.

E-1s make like 1,000$ i know for sure, i still have to wait for my dad to talk to his friend, hes gonna give me more info than the Recruiting station has.
