"Jurassic Park" Author Michael Crichton Dies

Michael Crichton, the million-selling author of such historic and prehistoric science thrillers as "Jurassic Park," "Timeline" and "The Andromeda Strain," has died of cancer, his family said.
He died Tuesday in Los Angeles at age 66 after a long battle with the illness.

Never "knew" the guy..but I liked Jurassic Park.

I learned my first bit of quantum physics from "Timeline" and alot about new theories on dinosaurs from Jurassic park. His books were excellent, he had a great way of explaining complex science in an understandable way.
