He's not that old, that's why. He was a pro in his early 20's, after having put on a lot of size in his late teens. So he has been around for decades but he isn't even 40 yet. He also didn't go nuts with his drugs (although people thought he did, it was just the food he went nuts with) and has maintained a life outside of BBing. Well balanced is the term.

I meant career longevity... not many can sustain "the Pro-bodybuilding life style" for as long as he has.... and yes I believe you are right, he achieved this because he did not go nuts on steroids! We've seen physiques getting destroyed because of chemical over use (eg Nassar, Rich Gaspari & Jean Peire Fux)... only a very few have been able to maintain the standard... and Lee is a prime example this! Even after all these years of being a Pro BBer he still has a fresh look to his physique!
