Libyan female bodybuilder prevails against the odds

Libyan female bodybuilder Al Amamy is the ice breaker in the country having won the north African female bodybuilding title against steep odds. She had no access to a modern facility during her training and used a local fitness centre to train. She is now venturing into international competitions but there are funding issues with hope that the Libyan federation will finance her in there competitions. She is a conservative Muslim and the first lady to beat the odds in a closed patriarchal society.
