Troy's awful. I'm so glad the acient Greek/Roman epics are dead. I wasn't even a huge fan of Gladiator so it was good to see the epic rise and fall with Ridley Scott.


As for The Patriot: I didn't realize the American Revolution was won by a father's love

I just watched "The Machinist". It was mix of Stay and Fight Club. It was interesting, but very easy to figure out what was going on.

I honestly haven't seen it. It got solid reviews so I'll put it on my list, but there's a lot of movies ahead of it that I'd like to see.

Interesting note about The Machinist.

Christian Bale starved himself for over 4 months prior to filming, as his character needed to look drastically thin. According to the DVD commentary, he lost 62 pounds (28 kg), reducing his body weight to 110 pounds. He later regained the weight, plus an additional 40 pounds due to weightlifting, in preparation for his role in Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins.

In the beginning of the movie, I thought it was computer animated. Thats how insanely skinny he was. It was scary.

Tweak, the Kill Bill films are both amazing. Sure, I'm partial to the second one, as I'm a huge fan of spaghetti westerns, but to say either sucks is stupid.
