Vasyl Lomachenko is the heavy favorite in his fight against Jorge Linares tonight. With only 11 fights, Lomachenko is poised to collect his 3rd belt which is currently owned by WBA lightweight champion Linares.Lomachenko of Ukrain is a 2-time Olympic gold medalist. Linares of Venezuelz has a fight record of 44-3 while Lomachenko has 10 wins against only 1 loss.

It was an even fight after Linares floored Lomachenko in the 6th round. But the gutsy former two-time Olympic medalist found his target in the 10th round that had Linares on the canvas. Linares who had difficulty in standing up was counted out by the referee. The score was just even until that fateful shot that had Linares on the mat. Vasyl Lomachenko now is champion for the 3rd time in 3 divisions in only his 12th fight.
