Still pretty big. I've always considered him one of the greatest bodybuilders out there. I've even talked to him when he came to Bucharest few years ago. He was huge! Unfortunately, he wasn't able to walk too much without wheezing.

I met last year in san marino. Last year markus did a bodybuilding seminar he was a smart people, he told he trained but now he didn't want to big huge, but he is only 125 kg he told that now he didn't compete anymore but he travels very much for seminars and for guest in store and expo. He told that in 2007 arnold classic ( he was 3th ) , but in the backstage cutler ( he was first ) and chris cormier ( he was second ) went to markus and they told him that he was the winner.

Yeah. Had he been an American, he would have won a whole lot of other contests. However, I can't say that I am a big fan of his body (no homo, lol). He's huge, but there is a big difference between his lower and upper body. This is perhaps the reason why he didn't place higher in a lot of contests.
