After winning the UFC featherweight championship against long time champion Jose Aldo, Holloway has defended the belt against Aldo. The official challenger was supposed to be Frankie Edgar but he was injured in training so the number 1 contender took his place. And so it became a rematch for Aldo and Holloway that ended in the same fashion as the first fight – Aldo succumbed to the barrage of punches by Holloway and the referee had to stop the carnage.
