Probably because most of the people going to see that movie don't even know what IMDB is.

I usually check IMDB and RottenTomatoes before I download a movie. If reviews are decent, I give it a shot.

That doesn't mean anything, i'm glad people had to sit through garbage; they deserved it. This is the type of movie someone will say "that was the worst movie i've ever seen" then they'd go see its sequel on the first day. I will be downloading this movie, but I probably won't even watch half of it.
