A question !!

If I install it, will it erase any of my existing files ? What are the system requirements... the real ones. How does it work/handle against XP ?

you can choose to upgrade (keeping EVERYTHING, files, programs, games, i mean everything) or you can do a clean install.

bout the same as vista.

its alot more stable than Vista, but compared to XP, you'll have to get used to the icons, the newer settings options etc etcc etccc

But these new icons and new settings are MOAR user friendly ? I know change is hard to custom yourself too, but do you find it more appealing ?

Thanks beforehand hypo, all my homoerotic luv to you.

faster load time, less ram utilized, more features, wifi connects faster, a lot of pluses.

A lot of us in the IT field think that microsoft released vista, then continued to work on Windows 7 off of vista.

What it does mean is that XP users will not be able to to install Win 7 as an upgrade that will leave all of your programs in place. Instead, you will have to back up your data and settings, do a clean installation of win 7, then reload your apps and restore your data.I expect there will be some sort of migration tool to make this somewhat easier.

ok. so basically I would just have to reformat, then do a fresh installation of Windows 7. thats not that big of a deal. I'd probably do that anyway.

Or Upgrade to Vista, then install service pack 1 for Vista with all updates. Then Upgrade to Windows 7.

Talk about efficient.

Is it a driver problem? (meaning if its the game or graphic card driver)

i installed the ATI windows 7 beta driver package

after a short troubleshoot, it said it was the application (the game)..
