MMA fighter Angela Magana in coma

The April 26 fight of Angela Magana against Kyra Batana in the Combate 35: Reinas in Los Angeles will not push through. Due to severe back pains, Magana underwent surgery that is now causing a problem because the doctors seem not to be able to wake her up. Magana was a former UFC fighter who was released after having 3 losses. Magana from Puerto Rico has also plans to represent her country in the Olympic wrestling.

Angela posted a picture of herself working out in her hospital room with IV drips in her arms just hours before the surgery. That plus the way fighters diet and cut weight... man. She also uploaded a video talking about being terrified of going under since one of her friends growing up went into a coma from it and never woke up. Surreal, I hope she's not aware of what's going on.
