Undefeated UFC middleweight contender Paulo Costa was suspended by USADA for using Intravenous infusion of medication for his stomach problems. It was actually a technicality that the procedure didn’t have explicit permission – Therapeutic Use Exemption. The issue was about the 2017 fight of Costa. The suspension imposed on Costa was a 6-month vacation away from the octagon.
