Bannout was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1976. He started bodybuilding when he was just 19 years old and quickly rose to prominence, winning his first professional competition in 1997. He went on to win many more competitions and titles over the following years, culminating in his current victory as “Mr. Olympia” in 2013.
Bannout is known for his extreme muscularity and symmetry, as well as his extraordinary vascularity (the ability of muscles to hold blood).
