i thought it was good, not as great but still good.
lots of action and comedy thrown in.
its a classic indy movie, but not quite as good.
the reviews bashed it more than it deserved.

and yes your spoiler is kinda true, but i mean how is that anymore unlikely than jesus, and magic box that kills people, and flamming stones?

My wife and I liked it, but I'll agree it really didn't live up to the older Indy movies.

I'm gonna call BS on most of the complaints I heard about it.

(Saw it last week.)

Let's face it, what makes Indiana Jones so damn good was our MEMORY of it. Temple of Doom, Raiders, Last Crusade, all had moments of sheer goofy. These movie were never meant to be taken too seriously.... And yet people expected a hyper-serious Indy movie with no gags or cheese.

High expectations + 20 years of aging = disappointment of it not being exactly as you wanted.




I went with a bunch of small kids. They loved it. Only the adults thought it was too silly.

Yea, but Mutt cussed twice in the movie
not really meant for lil ones..

it was alright, some decent usage of CGI, and ya, good humour here n there.

The Indy movies were always stupid and childish... I thought this one was very honorable to the memory of the old ones.

I liked it.
