Starring Mickey Rourke, apparently already a critical hit at film festivals. It looks like it could be interesting.

I like Rourke, when he's on his game he's a really good actor. Eg. Sin City.

Ledger's performance was and that before anyone had even seen the movie. At least The Wrestler had already received some validated recognition before these claims were made.

Darren Aronofsky is a good filmmaker so I'm really curious how he can top the aesthetic wonder that is The Fountain. Each of his films has such a unique feel to it while wonderfully meshing very realized themes with outstanding visuals. I'm sure this film will certainly be something fresh as well.
