The Red bull car looks quite quick... I really am a fanboy for Mark Webber this year!

Kubica has had a huge accident while racing in a rally today, he has several broken bones, especially one of his hands. It has been said that it will take a whole year for him to come back to racing.
It's really a shame, very nice guy and good driver.

^^ Yeah, really nice guy, but even if he could drive again, I think it's a career-ending crash. I don't think he can drive REALLY fast anymore. Sad news.

well, you never know. These guys are somehow mental to begin with, so there's still a hope for him to come back to greatness.

I've heard about Kubica yesterday. Very sad news indeed. He is one of the top drivers in F1, and IMO he would've been a future world champion. Wish him a quick recovery.

ps. F1 crashes are safer than almost all sports accidents nowadays.

F1 > all.

Of course. Do you guys remember Burti (Prost GP) crasinh at more than 250kmh in Spa, after Irvine (Jaguar) pull his front wing off? I believe it was in 2002...

^ This one?

(a crash like this in any other motor sport and the driver would die 10 times at once lol, especially in rally)

The name sounds kinda familiar, but I don't remember of him. Maybe it's because I started more "seriously" with F1 @ 2001 or so :icon_mrgreen:.

^^ Yeah, exactly. You could also check Fisechella's crash in saturday practice @ MagnyCours in a Jordan, 2002, maybe. That's was really really scary.

Burti was a rich brazilian guy, like Pedro Diniz, he wasn't Senna at all, you know. In 2001 I was a really die-hard fan of F1. In fact, it was probably the 9th or 10th full season I followed in my life.

I think you've heard about this (the F1 fanatics esp), Bahrein withdraw from the 2011 F1 season, because of their political shit. This really sucks.

Other news, the tests at Barcelona went well, with Vettel dominating the first 2 days of testing, Rosberg the 3rd day, and Massa the 4th. The next tests will be in Barcelona again, on March 8-11.

And more important, Kubica's recovery is pretty good so far. Operations went well and now he's in the rehabilitation program.

Kubica starts rehabilitation programme

Yeah I agree. I'm not a fan of these new circuits in different parts of the world (where it's more money usually, like Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Singapore..etc), I am a fan of the old and classic circuits, like you said Imola for example.

But oh well, money rules the world.

2 weeks to go!!

Testing times are still interesting, esp with Schumacher dominating the day 4 in Barcelona. It would be awesome if his car will be one of the best this year. Can't wait.

ps. the 2010 F1 season review - it's on formula1.com also (for a better quality and stuff)
