I'd roll with the 'maybe not' scenario, BD:49::xyxthumbs:

Gonzaga was pushed as a contender by Dana after Congo showed he was unable to deal with any kind of ground game, ergo killing the thunder White was trying to attatch to him being Sylvia's next contender. With the recent addition of Mirko, as well as the return of Randy and Arlovski, Gonzaga is looking smaller by comparison. Mirko via TKO in round two.

the only thing Gonzaga could do is get Cro Cop on the ground, but this is how i see it, if Cro Cop could hold off Big Nog when he had no BJJ skills (till an armbar near the end) and basically nullify Fedors ground game when he fought him, wtf is Gonzaga gonna do to him, he sure as fuck cant stand wiht him....this is gonna be another Eddie Sanchez type murder, Gonzaga will talk shit and then come fight time he'll run away

Well it depends, if history means anything Matt will come back better than ever, refocused and, namely like he was after the first BJ fight. But then again i don't think i've ever seen (at least to my recolection) Matt get so completley destroyed like GSP did, and that was a pretty badass KO. I don't think Lytle is a easy guy for Matt either. the Militech camp says that Matt's been training like crazy, but then again so did David Louiseau after the Franklin fight, and he's a prime example of the worst of what can happen to a fighter after he takes a brutal beating.

Lytle beat Serra at TUF4 finals(no matter what the blatantly fixed panel of judges decided; unanimous was more than a complete joke, it was straight up corrupt) so Matt better be on his A game. Chris owns him on speed, so unless Matt can dictate the pace of the fight somehow, I for one see him in for a bit of trouble.

ooo truu OBE

In fact, I think the entire main event card for UFC 68 (Franklin, Hughes, Sylvia) could be in for some badass losses if their not properly prepared. A. Silva and GSP could still be in Franklin and Hughes heads, as they've come off some pretty bad beatings. In addition we all know what happens when someone under estimates Captain America.

You get 'ta beatdown, courtesy of the red, white, and blue:xyxthumbs: Randy has screwed Timmy's head up something fierce; it's an echo of Sanchez's 'I'm not scared' pre-fight interviews at this point from Sylvia.

I feel Rich will bounce back better than Matt, the fact that he's smarter and more humble notwithstanding. Matt was thoroughly destroyed by GSP after strumping on his 'I'm invincible' bandwagon; Rich did no such thing leading into his short and nasty bout with Silva. Nose aside, Franklin wasn't nearly as rocked as Hughes either.

I like Jason, but I don't see Rich having jitters and being rolled over by him. Matt on the other hand....I guess we'll see how strong his 'faith' is this time around:e5dunno:

And by faith I mean invincibility complex.

I think Rich has more to overcome than Matt. I mean GSP laid a badass beating on Matt, but A. Silva dismantled Rich in less than 2 minutes...bad plan or not, thats a pretty bad shot to a fighters confidence. As for Sylvia, i believe it was on Inside the UFC this week that he said basically that he's got the best TK defense in the world and he's the best HW in the world...im kinda hoping he beats Randy so i can see Cro Cop kick his head into the 10th row

I am kind of excited to see Machida in the UFC. There is also another 205er from Chute Boxe that is supposedly in negotiations with the UFC. I forgot his name at the moment.

I'm not so sure about Machidas legitimacy anymore, while he did demolish Hoger...who the fuck is Hoger. But another supposedly world class LHW isn't a bad thing. As for the Chutebox thingy, i think you mean Wander Braga...i think he's with Chutebox, but either way he's with the UFC in their LW division.
