ya Sherk wasnt really dominated, but he did pretty much neutralize all Diaz had

i am glad Diaz won. Besides the fact that he won me $40, i like his stand up (it has improved, but it was pretty decent to begin with), and i like his ground game. Also, he is only 23 so he has a good future ahead of him.

one of the things that always pisses me off about PRIDE is this non-title fight bs, it makes their champions look so stupid if they should lose (Henderson/Misaki, Gomi/Aurelio)

I don't get the Non title fight either. I do not quite understand the reasoning behind it. The only thing that I could think of, would be poor match making (allowing someone who is not inline for a title shot fight the champ). It does make the champ look like a chump, and he almost instantaneously becomes second guessed by the fans, and other fighters. This is not Monday Night Raw. If you fight the champ and win, you should take his belt.

I think its a Japanese thing, they must not care about title fights. But still it looks so amateurish when someone new to the org gets a crack at the champ, title shot or not.
