Lutter and Terry Martin didnt make weight, they were both 187, they should be able to lose it though

oh and Cro Cop got a massive ovation

According to Dave Meltzer, apparently Travis Lutter did NOT make weight, his final attempt he came in at 186.5 lbs. which is 1.5 lbs. too heavy, therefore the fight is now a 3 round non title fight

Martin made weight for the Rivera fight, but i dont think anyone really cares

Maybe they'll make a waive considering he signed on for a title fight. Seemes really stupid to have him go through all that he did, only to pull the rug out for 1.5 freakin pounds; that just sounds so stupid and anal typing it, let alone standing by it

Rampage looked pretty good, i gotta give props to Sanchez for taking some punishment (he looked pretty scared after a few hits got landed) and Silva gets props for a good looking win AND that slick dance after the fight

ooo and Frank Edgar beat Tyson Griffin...biggest shock of the card

something Joe Rogan said backstage that explains why Silva got taken down so easy:

Anderson Silva had knee surgery on both knees just 11 weeks ago. That was why he was so easy to take down, and that was why he couldn't squeeze 100% when he had Lutter in the triangle. I ran into his manager after the show and he told me the whole deal. His knees were still very sore. Later that night I ran into Anderson in the hotel, and he was limping like he was just double knee barred.

One of my beefs with Rogan is the constant 'greatest', 'most devestating',
'most destructive', 'blah,blah,blah...' opinions he has every other week. Making new definitive and 'all time' statements every other second just makes you look like a dope.

Although he and Mike(Goldberg is the MAN) are leaps and bounds above commentators of other US MMA orgs, that's not saying a whole lot...

I hate Goldberg, whenever he asks Randy about something he gets too close like he wants to cuddle on his shoulder...freak. I prefer Rogan over him

I'd just watched some KOTC before I made that last post, and since their commentating sucks something beyond awful, I probably felt better about Goldberg than I usually do

The Frankie Edgar/Tyson Griffin fight was easily fight of the night, that kneebar at the end was sadistic, and i got maddd respect for Frankie Edgar now, i am an official fan of this guy after that amazing fight

I feel it was an amazing showing for the lightweight division itself. I'm really excited to see how TUF5 went; is there an official air time slated for that yet?
