I've loved the Total War franchise. I was hooked on Shogun years ago, but I never liked Medival or its expansion. Rome was, I feel, the best so far. Medival 2 is great, but I guess I just preferred the setting of the turn of the B to the C a little more.

yeahh, rome's inmersive feeling and ambience is and will probably un-matched in the series if they continue by m2tw path, i dont like naval combat which seems to be the star feature of E:TW, but the dismembered units on the battlefield, the ability to take a house and cover, and the advanced physics of the cannon balls and fire arms looks promising, also the re-scripted AI looks good (i never played SP because of shitty and incoherent AI)

btw m2tw kingdoms expansion is funny, do u own it?

If advanced physics means they'll do something more tham arc randomly around, then I'm sure I'll be a happy camper Having naval combat being more than simple numbers and clicks should be interesting, but I feel it'll still likely be a sideshow to the land campaigns.

I don't own Kingdoms; to be honest, my video game time nowadays is pretty pathetic. What gives it its funny classification?

Just got done beating Portal. One of the greatest and most satisfying games i've played. It was somewhat creepy to play at times with that voice.

Favorite all time Computer Games

Had nothing to do after a leg workout today and I looked over and saw some dusty ass computer games that I hardly played... but made me think..

I would have to say my all time favorite is StarCraft personally... dont know why but that is a game I always liked...and now its a classic... I am getting old...
Oh and Diablo II is fucking awesome too... hmmm gonna play one of these now.

diablo 2 back in the day and age of mythology, then dawn of war 40k came out.
Thing what sucked for diablo 2 was online had so many cheats and hacks its nowhere near single player mode.
