In the recent One Championship held in Macau, we saw the defeat of 2 Filipino fighters. In the strawweight division division Filipino Joshua Pacio was winning with good hits against undefeated Japanese Hayato Suzuki when Pacio was caught by a rear-naked choke for the submission. In the featherweight division, veteran Kotetsu Boku subdued Filipino Eric Kelly by referee stoppage. Perhaps the Filipinos should train hard on how to handle grappler opponents. They are good hitters but lousy on the ground.
