One FC - Battle for the Heavens in Guangzhou, China

One FC world atomweight title will be contested by Yodcherry Sityodtong of Thailand and kickboxer Chuang Kaiting of China. Both fighters are relying on their experience. Sityodtong is a Muay Thai champion many times and even had taken on 30 male opponents and winning 29 of them. Sidyodtong is currently an MMA instructor in Singapore. Kai Ting is also a Muay Thai fighter and has won several Muay Thai championship titles.

After 5 rounds, the dreaded killer punch of Yodcherry was not seen. She lost by unanimous decision to Kai Ting who was quick with her combinations while Yodcherry seemed intimidated and had fewer shots. By the way, it was not a mix martial arts fight but a kickboxing match. Kai Ting is now the atomweight world champion and is poised to meet Istela Nunes of Brazil who won in the eliminations over Gina Iniong.
