One FC flyweight grand prix semifinals – Danny Kingad vs Reece McLaren

The 3 rounds showed a good exchange of takedowns between the semifinalists of the One FC flyweight grand prix between Filipino Danny Kingad and Australian champion Reece McLaren. In the beginning, McLaren was dominating the ground game until Kingad was able to retaliate. In the 3rd round, it was clear that McLaren was spent and Kingad was in control until the end. It was a split decision for Kingad who advances to the finals.

Filipino MMA fighter Danny Kingad will be facing a formidable fighter in the finals of the One FC flyweight grand prix. Former UFC champion Demetrious Johnson is still on top of his game and it would be a big task for Kingad. But upsets can happen since Kingad has the firepower and a heavy striker that Johnson may not be able to evade him.
