One FC flyweight Muay Thai title fight – Jonathan Haggerty vs Rodtang Jitmuangnon

Jonathan Haggerty of the UK will make the first defense of his One FC flyweight Muay Thai title against Rodtang Jitmuangnon on August 2 at the MOA Arena in Manila. The challenger is a Muay Thai superstar in Thailand but Haggerty vows to be prepared for the body kicks and the quick punches. The champion has his own arsenal of weapons.

The One FC muay thai belt slipped from the waist of Jonathan Haggerty courtesy of a knockdown by challenger Rodtang. It was Haggerty in the early going with his continual body kicks but the Thai showed his power shots in the later round. Perhaps that knockdown in the 4th round sealed the win for Rodtang despite the dominance of the champion in the striking department.
