ONE FC – heavyweight title fight – Brandon Vera vs Arjan Bhullar

Long time ONE FC heavyweight champion Brandon Vera will defend his title against challenger Arjan Bhullar on May 15 in Singapore Indoor Stadium. Vera is the first and still only champion in the heavyweight division since ONE FC began. Both fighters boast of the knockout punch so it will be a cat-and-mouse affair. Bhullar has a fight record of 10-1 while Vera has 16-8 including his fights in the UFC.

The first round ran true to form that Vera was in his usual quick movements and the ever ready left hand for a jab. Bhullar seemed to have difficulty in touching Vera. But in the second round Bhullar was able to hit Vera and there was a point that Vera got hurt. Eventually Vera looked like a beaten fighter that the referee intervened to save him from more harm. Bhullar is the first Indian One FC champion.
