One FC lightweight grand prix championship – Christian Lee vs Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev

As a replacement for the injured Eddie Alvarez, One FC lightweight champion Christian Lee steps up to face Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev in the finals of the One FC lightweight grand prix. Lee has a fight record of 12-3 while Arlslanaliev has 8-1 for his pro record. Lee is a heavy striker that will match the style of Arslanaliev who also has a ground grame. The fight will be held on October 13 at Ryogoku, Kokugikan, Sumida City, Japan as part of the One Century.

The feared heavy striking of Guseyn Arslianaliev was neutralized by the grappling and takedowns of Christian Lee that although Lee was hit but it looks like there was no more sting in the punches of Arslanaliev in the 2nd and 3rd round. Being the ONE FC lightweight champion, Lee also won the ONE FC lightweight world grand prix by earning a unanimous decision over Arslanaliev.
