ONE FC welterweight title – Shinya Aoki vs Christian Lee

Japanese Shinya Aoki will defend his One FC welterweight belt against Christian Lee of Singapore on May 17 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. Aoki is a 4-time welterweight champion while Lee is 6-time Pankration World Champion.
The champion will once again showcase his grappling skills and Lee promised to defend against the takedowns. The odds favor Aoki at the moment.

One FC lightweight champion Shinya Aoki showed his superiority in the ground game that he had dominated challenger Christian Lee in the first round. But in the 2nd round, Lee changed tactics with a dynamic offense. Aoki was hit by a strong punch that Lee released a flurry that floored the champion. The referee stopped the fight to save Aoki from further punishment. Christian is the younger brother of One FC champion Angela Lee.
