The recent elections of the Executive Board of Panam Sports, (Pan American Olympic Sports Organization), offered excellent news, with the election of General Santiago Estrada, General Secretary of the Nicaraguan Olympic Committee, and Executive Member of the IFBB, as Personal Advisor to the President on Olympic issues, as a member of the Panam Executive Committee.
The magnificent trajectory of the General Estrada in sports, is endorsed by this high distinction in the international Olympism.
A task full of responsibilities in which we are sure that General Estrada will contribute to the goals of the Olympic world, and to the progression of the sport, with his well known diplomatic and leadership skills.
In the same elections, Eng. Neven Ilic Álvarez was unanimously reelected as President of Panam Sports.
Our congratulations to the President, and Executive Committee of Panam Sports, wishing them the best successes in this new period.
The IFBB is a recognized member of Panam Sports, and participated in the last Pan American Games of 2019 in Lima.
