A 45-year-old pharmacy owner in Paphos was charged in writing on Friday and released after police confiscated hundreds of products believed to be steroids from his premises.
The drug squad had raided the pharmacy he owned a day earlier and arrested him after they found scores of pills believed to be steroids used for doping.
Officers also reportedly found some 70 small containers of testosterone pills that have been sent to the state lab for examinations as well as hundreds of other pills whose purpose still remains unclear
