Phil IMO narrowly though, he has better aesthetics and is in better shape especially from the rear. Gustavo out masses him, but his abdomen is distended and his legs are smaller with fewer cuts and his hams and glutes are not nearly as shredded as Heaths.

It's a very close call but I would propably give this one to Gus. 2008 it was a different story like we all know...

Phil is just a little guy in these pics. He mad great improvements this year from the last.

i have to go with badell this time.phil looks good but badell has maturse mass and muscle and a good conditioning,phil was pretty light that year.on the other hand this year the gift will take badell out.

Front double biceps - Phil (Better shape and flow)
Front latspread - Gustavo (Won on being thicker then Phil)
Side triceps - Phil (Came down to who was sharper, but I wouldnt argue if Gustavo took it.)
Side Chest - Gustavo (Phil lost this one because of he flexed his pec)
Back double biceps - Phil (Sharper and has better flow/look)
Rear latspread - Phil (Gustavo would've had this if he was just a little harder)
Abs & thigh - Phil (Flow better and not blocky looking)
Most muscular - Gustavo (Much thicker, dont know if gustavo would've had this pose this year though)
Back squeeze - Phil (Just much sharper)

In 07 the Phil had a slight edge over Badell, but in 08 Phil totally dominated.

I rarely say this but I feel it could go either way. If Gustavo's glutes looked better I'd give it to him, but Phil crushes him in that department. Thus, I'll give the notch to Phil.

Gustavo. There is kind of a glare on his quads..I think they are separated enough..gustavos arms look better here to me too.Phil is way better now though lol

I'd give it to Gustavo because he had the muscle maturity with those deeper muscle bellies and the extra mass - but Phil has the potential to improve his physique a hell of a lot more as his muscles mature IMO
