Hey guys. Haven't posted on here in many years. I last competed in 2008 as a junior, and in 4.5 months I'm planning to compete in masters (I'm 39), lol, as well as in open bodybuilding. About 15 years ago I had a decent sized gyno under my left nipple. Here are the pics from my last show: https://musclemecca.com/threads/pics-from-show-that-i-won.191450/ Anyway, about 15 years ago I looked up how much gyno surgery costs and was shocked, to say the least. I decided to do it myself. I looked up how a gyno surgery is done on youtube and got a pocket knife, some xylocaine and began ripping through the skin. Yes, ripping, as the knife was dull. Finally I got to the good part. I felt the tissue, cut it out, and everything was fine. Next day I wasn't satisfied, so I got a scalpel from my mom, who is a nurse, and decided to remove whatever I felt was left there. There was a lot of blood and I didn't know what was what, but I kept cutting. Next day I went to the hospital, hoping they would stitch me up, but they just put some bandages on and that was it. The thing healed on it's own after a while anyway. The problem was, while I was cutting it the second day, I accidentally chopped off a piece of muscle, and now that it's all healed up and stuff, there's a bit of a dent underneath my nipple. I will post some pics soon so you all can see what I'm talking about. I'm very self conscious about this issue, and I hope that it won't draw too much attention at the show, which is coming up in August, in Toronto. It's called legends supercup. A regional show. Anyway, you can see this dent mostly while doing a front double bi pose, abs and thighs, and hands together most muscular pose, in which my left nipple is actually looking down a bit. Also, about the same number of years ago I had a very bad abscess on my right glute, and the surgeon told me that it was one of the worst abscesses she had ever seen throughout her career. After it was drained, 3 different passages/cavities formed, one 9 cm deep, one 6 cm deep and one 3 cm deep. After the thing healed up, a pretty nasty scar formed, which remains to this day. I am conscious about this scar as well, as it is about 1 inch- 1.5 inch in diameter, round. So these two things, the abscess scar and the dent under my left nipple make me very self conscious and a bit nervous about the upcoming show. Not to mention some gyno under my right nipple. Once I get my Ukrainian citizenship, passport renounced, I will go to Ukraine and get a gyno surgery and hopefully some kind of plastic surgery for my left nipple. It's a lot cheaper over there. A gyno surgery for both nipples costs 500-1000$, compared to 10000$ and above in Canada. I will also see what can be done about my scar on my glute, maybe some skin tightening or something. Anyway, I will post some pics soon off my nipple and my scar. Stay tuned.

Ok, here are some shots. I know I look like crap right now. Prior to 6 months ago, I haven't trained for about 6 years. I just wanna know what you guys think about my nipple problem. Both nipples. There's quiet a bit of asymmetry, as you can see.

Welcome back to the stage; moving from Juniors to Masters at 39 is a massive jump. For the show in Toronto, don’t let the "DIY" dent get in your head. Once you’re under the stage lights with a professional tan, those small asymmetries and scars usually wash out. Judges prioritize your overall conditioning and muscle maturity over minor skin imperfections. Focus on hitting your peaks and use your posing to mask the angles that bother you. You've clearly got the grit for a tough prep, good luck in August!

Thanks you. Yeah, that's true. I'm gonna focus on my prep and ignore these little issues for now, until I can get them fixed

A good surgeon could fix that for you when you are ready and hopefully you didn't cause lasting damage from your self-surgery.

I hope so too. I cut out a small piece of muscle, that's the only thing that really worries me. So I'll either have to get a muscle reconstruction, which is rare, or just mask it with lipofilling or something. Same goes for the indent, lipofilling will probably be needed to be done as I cut off a bit too much of the tissue, making the nipple collapse inward a bit. A surgeon usually leaves a bit of the tissue for this reason, so the nipple doesn't fall inward. Also, getting my gyno removed from the right side will make it all look even more symmetrical. But I have to wait until I can go back to Ukraine to get the surgery. In Canada this would all cost me over 10 grand, easily. In Ukraine it can cost about a grand or two, for both sides. But I have to wait until I can get rid of my Ukrainian citizenship. It's kind of retarded. Even though I have a Canadian citizenship, and there's no dual citizenship in Ukraine, if I'll go to Ukraine I will be considered a Ukrainian citizen, because I never got rid of Ukrainian citizenship/passport, so I'll be drafted into the military and sent to the front line, which is the last thing I need right now. The citizenship renunciation takes about a year or so. I just started the process recently.
