Yes, people with positive attitudes defined as high levels of emotions, determination and enthusiasm- were more likely to get regular exercise and sleep better. These factors correlated with having a healthier heart overall.

Having a positive outlook and growth mindset motivates the person to change his or her bad lifestyle into good one. And viewing mishaps as a learning opportunity or challenges in life helps them overcome the problems they are facing better. They can combat negative thoughts with optimism, believing that they can eradicate the current illness they are experiencing.
