There was once an argument among my friends on which is the best energy-building exercise – pull up or push up. I have been doing push ups since I was in high school so it is expected that I would go for push up. The guys on the other side of the discussion said that push up only builds the triceps which leaves the biceps smaller in look. The pull up is like a gymnastic callisthenics that you pull up your body with your hands. It develops both the biceps and the triceps. And the energy build up is greater than what the push up can give you. Okay, they win. But with the pull up, you would need an equipment while with the push up, you need only the floor. Any arguments? Silence.
