great pullups.....but he wont make the cut....all the gladiators are 6'3"..he is 5'9"....too short and too unatlethic

His pullups looked great in the beginning but it looked like he was only going halfway up in the latter half. He just seems to be too big to have the speed and explosiveness they're looking for...but he certainly has the body.

That said, I hope he makes it.

hes bodybuilder fast, which means slow

he needs to be football player or strong man fast, which means he needs about 50x the endurance and 100x the explosiveness.

This is why functional training and cardio (even if your "bulking") are so important. I'd rather have the functionality of a football player than a bodybuilder any day. I doubt Chris Cormier even has a 20" vertical
