Mike Matarazzo died on August 16, 2014 while waiting for a heart transplant. He had open heart surgery in 2004 and then a heart attack in 2007. Many people in the bodybuilding profession believe excessive steroid use was the cause. His weight also could have been a factor. I don't really know.

From what I understand , Mike was a monster in his time !!! Sick physique and just massive . But with all the size , it's said that he was a good and decent guy !!!
