Actor Dennis Hopper Dies at 74 After Suffering From Prostate Cancer

Actor Dennis Hopper, whose 50-year film career spanned such classics as “Rebel Without a Cause,” “Easy Rider,” “Apocalypse Now” and “Blue Velvet” died Saturday following a battle with prostate cancer, Reuters reported. He was 74.

Hopper died from complications related to the cancer at his home in Venice, Calif., at 8:15am PT and had friends and family by his side, friend Alex Hitz told Reuters.

You can't possibly tell me that none of those movie titles - and yes, I know they're American films and you're not American - ring a bell. Hell, Easy Rider alone forever changed the face of what an independent film can be in this country, and that's without divulging its content.

He's been in a shitload of films although you would probably recognise him as the bad guy in Speed. He also appeared in a number of early Australian films that resulted in the founding of the Australian Film Industry. Seriously if you don't recognise someone's name then google it instead of being so idiotic.

I like some songs more than others, but it's nothing I'd listen to casually. That said, I think everything works perfectly within the context of the movie.
