Jerry Ward, a well-known bodybuilder and NPC/IFBB judge, passed away at the age of 46. Ward passed away yesterday night, on Friday, July 22, 2022, according to a recent post by bodybuilding promoter Gary Udit. An official cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
Ward has made no secret of the fact that he loves bodybuilding, and he will be revered for years to come for his unmatched expertise in the field. Erin Merritt, the bodybuilder's devoted wife, is left behind. In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he most recently worked as a commentator for Udit's 2022 NPC Teen, Collegiate, and Masters National. Ward even posted a video on his YouTube page hours before he passed away.
Ward was whining to a buddy that he feared he had injured his left rib, according to Dave Palumbo of Rx Muscle. Palumbo said that when performing his latest livestream responsibilities, the alleged injury was brought on by transporting baggage to the location where he was residing for the week.
Ward's death was just noted as occurring suddenly overnight; no cause of death was given. Just hours before he passed away, he had just finished commenting on the weekend's activities and had had just posted a video to his YouTube page.
