M Hariharan, a bodybuilder who was 21 years old passed away after becoming lodged in his throat with the bread he had eaten during a break during a training session. M Hariharan, was preparing for the state-level bodybuilding competition that was going to be held at Vadalur, which is located in the Cuddalore district. He competed in the division for contestants weighing less than 70 kg.
The competition for the state championship was held at Cuddalore, and participants came from all across the state to take part. They were staying in a reception hall for the night. On Sunday evening at eight o'clock, Hariharan was in the gym working out.
As a huge chunk of the bread became lodged in his throat, he took a break and munched on more bread. He was unable to breathe, and he passed out shortly after that. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the government general hospital where he was transported for treatment.
