Penang, Ahmad Ali, 84 also known as "Mat Tarzan" died after a motorcycle accident in Bayan Baru. He had been in a coma at the time of his death.

Mat Tarzan was a popular bodybuilder in the 50 and 60's and traveled around the world showing his strength by bending iron rods with his neck and walking on broken glass and more.

Penang's first Chief Minister Tan Sri Wong Pow Nee gave the title "Mat Tarzan" in 1958.
