Romero Duno as possible opponent of Ryan Garcia

The aborted fight of rising lightweight superstar Ryan Garcia when Avery Sparrow was a no-show in the weigh-in would have made Romero Duno a replacement. However, Duno was already slated to fight Ivan Delgado in the same undercard. It was good that Duno proceeded in beating Delgado after the 7th round when Delgado did not continue for a TKO win by Duno who improved his record to 21-1 and 16 KOs. What’s next for Duno is a possible clash with Ryan Garcia before the end of the year.

I hear Avery Sparrow had an arrest warrant and that is why he was a no show. He got arrested and couldn't make the weigh-in.
