I have that pull up bar. Your door frame has to protrude alot for it to lock in.

I have one too pain. I accidentally bought 2 for my ex so i ended up keeping one of them lol works great IMO, i used to wander around my house looking for something to do pullups on. I've only seriously used it twice when i wasnt going to the gym. it was good though.
