Sound of Music the movie

This is a classic movie of Julie Andrews who played the novitiate Maria. She becames governess for the children of a military captain played by Christopher Plummer. It was the war era and the family had to relocate in order to avoid persecution. But before that, the family accepts Maria as their governess. The scenes were depicted by the songs in the movie with the title as the theme song.

While I certainly respect the movie and can appreciate it for what it is, it is just not my cup of tea. Anything that long and kind of slow just cannot cut it for me anymore, which maybe is a shame but oh well.
