I preffer the power rack to do squats. I find the slant on the squat rack to be awkward and it forces me to back up considerably, not to mention the unadjustable stop.

LOL.. I think there's no gym in my city that has one... and there are plenty of gyms.. just Squat racks.

Bodybuilding > Powerlifting here...

I would love to squat in one though I think it's way better.

That sucks natzo, squat racks suck in comparison. Power racks are pretty versatile

We got guys squatting 250kg+ on just loose press racks, so no squat rack or power rack, but we can drop and do whatever we want, prefer that freedom over power rack

but if you drop a loaded squat bar and you want to do another set it sucks to put it back on.

We don't have a power rack in the gym anymore, so I squat in the squat rack..
