This is Phil Pfister at the 2006 World Strong Man! He was the first strongman from the USA to win since 1982. Not only that but he won $41,000!

One of my favorite strongman motivational quote was made by the Olympic athlete Maurice Green. He said and I quote, "To be number one, you have to train like you are number two. Even though Green's specialty wasn't on weight lifting but was on field sprinting where he specializes on 100 and 200 meters, I loved that his motivation quote because it drives me to surpass the number one.
