I remember a craze from the early millennium creatine drops for sublingual usage. A work friend who read a lot of muscle mags recommended it to me.

Basically what happens is it bypasses the liver and goes strait to the blood. So you can make a milk thistle tincture or a maca tincture or any herbal tincture and it goes strait to the blood.

This is economical too 5 drops lingually or sub lingually is as good or even better absorbed than 30 drops internally through the stomach.

Interesting approach but absorption can vary a lot depending on the compound.

Some herbs may absorb well sublingually while others still work better through digestion.

The convenience and lower dose are definitely appealing though.

I remember those too, but I never found convincing evidence that sublingual creatine worked any better than regular creatine monohydrate, which is already absorbed well and has far more research behind it.
