Survivor reality show on tv

This reality show on tv is a favorite in our home. But it is the local version. We were watching it because we know the contestants. When the US version was shown here, we did not give it much thought after watching a few episodes simply because we do not know the contestants. But the local version is different because we can relate with the hardships and emotions of the contestants. It’s a reality show that preys on the emotions of the contestants.

This is actually one of the reality shows that I can stand to watch, but still is a little iffy for me. You do have to give it some credit for being one of the original ones though, at least it was from what I remember.
