Apparently he got screwed on some weird rule...

In the second round of the semi-finals, he got the bonus point and won the round. Between rounds, they decided that he had fouled in some way, supposedly that he had crawled out of the mat, which he didn't, and they took the point away, giving the round and the match to the italian. Thus his bronze finish...

The swedish team filed a protest that was rejected.

i understand why he did it. can't just play along when you know you've been robbed of the chance of getting a gold medal bacause of corrupt judges.

He would have won the gold if the judge wasnt from Italy/Switzerland.
The judge wanted the Italian guy to win...it was his protest against FILA
