Swiss chocolate industry is struggling to survive

Due to the pandemic it was expected that people would turn to chocolates for their comfort food particularly during the lockdown period. But the Swiss chocolate industry is on the opposite end with the very low sales it is experiencing. Lindt had an 11% drop in production due to the diminishing export for abroad. Maybe the public was restrained from eating chocolates due to the high unemployment rate in some countries.
