This is actually not a gender issue when tennis pro Richard Radskin had unerwent a sex change from a man to a woman named Renee Richards. Being a woman, she continued playing professional tennis in the women’s league although there were protests against her. But eventually the league permitted Richards and accepted her new identity from a am into a woman. By the way, Richards is an ophthalmologist by profession.
