I don't think anyone going to see it is gonna be expecting 'The Godfather' and I don't think that's what Stallone is trying to do. I have heard the studio are gonna be test screening an R-Rated and PG-13 and seeing what the reaction is to see how wide an audience they are gonna aim at - I seriously hope they go with the R-rated version. No-one wants to see all these action stars in a film which comes out luke warm and censored.

No not a role as such, I believe it will be a fleeting cameo where Stllone walks past him. Although it may be a bit more as Bruce Willis is also set to have a cameo and I'm sure he wouldn't miss an opportunity to get all 3 of them in a scene together.
